ClamBot Terms of Service

Last updated August 22, 2026

These terms cover use of ClamBot, a Twitch/YouTube extension that lets a broadcaster run card "claim sales" and giveaways during a stream, and lets viewers enter them from the extension panel or with a chat command. By using ClamBot as a broadcaster or a viewer, you agree to these terms. See the Privacy Notice for how your data is handled.

What ClamBot is

ClamBot is a tool for organizing entries and picking winners. It tracks who entered, draws winners, and lets a broadcaster note what a winner claimed. That's the extent of what it does.

ClamBot is not a party to any transaction

A "claim" is the right to buy an item at a price the broadcaster sets — the broadcaster still has to sell it to you, and you still have to pay for it, entirely outside of ClamBot. ClamBot does not process payments, hold funds, ship anything, or guarantee that a broadcaster will honor a claim or that a winner will pay for one. Any dispute over an actual sale or a giveaway prize is between the broadcaster and the viewer involved — not us.

Broadcaster responsibilities

If you run claims or giveaways through ClamBot, you're responsible for honoring what you offer, following Twitch's and YouTube's own rules around giveaways and promotions in your region, and for anything your moderators do using the tools ClamBot gives them on your channel.

Viewer responsibilities

Entering a claim is a commitment to follow through if you win — broadcasters are relying on entries being genuine. Don't use scripts, bots, or multiple accounts to gain extra entries.

Acceptable use

Don't use ClamBot to run anything illegal in your jurisdiction (including gambling-style promotions where that's restricted), to harass or defraud viewers, or to try to break the service itself (scraping, attacking, or circumventing its access controls).

No warranty

ClamBot is provided "as is," with no guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time. We're not liable for lost entries, missed draws, or any other issue arising from downtime or bugs, beyond fixing them when we find out about them.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms, or ClamBot itself, as the tool evolves — continuing to use it after a change means you accept the new terms. Access can be suspended for a channel or account that violates these terms or Twitch's/YouTube's own policies.
